Acceptable use policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
img2img is an image-editing tool for safe-for-work images. This policy is part of our terms of service.
Don’t use img2img to
- process sexual, nude or otherwise adult (NSFW) images, or any image that sexualises minors;
- create deepfakes, swap faces or transfer anyone’s identity, or pass off an edited image of a real person as genuine in order to deceive;
- impersonate a person, brand or organisation, or help anyone commit fraud;
- edit images you don’t have the right to edit, or infringe anyone’s copyright, trademarks or privacy;
- harass, threaten, defame or exploit anyone, or create violent extremist, hateful or otherwise illegal content;
- scrape websites or process images in bulk against a site’s terms, or resell access to the service;
- get around our safety checks, rate limits or credit system, share or sell API keys, or attack, overload or reverse engineer the service.
How we enforce it
- Every image is checked automatically for adult content before it’s processed, and flagged images are refused. Face swapping and identity transfer aren’t offered at all.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break this policy, without refunding their unused credits, and report illegal content to the authorities.
